Slidell Council chooses leaders
The Slidell City Council unanimously voted on Dec. 19 to keep Kenny Tamborella and Megan Haggerty in their leadership roles another six months.
At the council's last regularly scheduled meeting of 2023, Council member at-large Bill Borchert nominated Tamborella as president of the council and Haggerty as vice president for the first half of 2024. Both motions were adopted without discussion or opposition.
Tamborella represents District E in the western part of the city. Haggerty represents District C, which is in central Slidell.
