The Jefferson Parish school system will let students out early Monday due to the expected severe weather and is canceling after-school activities.
The system said Sunday night that the expected Monday afternoon storms would result in the following start and end times:
Schools with 7:20 a.m. start times will dismiss at 10:45 a.m.
Schools with 7:30 a.m. start times will dismiss at 10:55 a.m.
Schools with 7:45 a.m. start times will dismiss at 11:10 a.m.
Schools with 8:00 a.m. start times will dismiss at 11:25 a.m.
Schools with 8:15 a.m. start times will dismiss at 11:55 a.m.
