A man died in a fatal car crash at the intersection of Hayne and Crowder boulevards Sunday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Officers responded to a call at about 8:47 p.m. The man had attempted to take a left turn on Crowder Boulevard while driving westbound on Hayne Boulevard. His car struck another car driving eastbound on Hayne Boulevard.
Both drivers were taken by EMS to an area hospital. The other driver's condition is not known.
No other additional information is available. The incident remains under investigation.
