A man was gunned down and killed near Chef Menteur Highway in Plum Orchard Saturday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The man was found shot multiple times inside of a crashed car at 1:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Dale Street, police said. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
No other details were immediately available, including the man's identity, a potential motive or any possible suspects.
