Waves of severe weather forecast to start Monday afternoon have prompted some New Orleans school systems to announce early dismissals and closures.

Here is a list of which schools and systems have made the call:

Jefferson Parish schools

The Jefferson Parish school system will let students out between 10:45 a.m. and 11:55 a.m.

The list is available here.

Jefferson RISE Charter School in Harvey will be closed Monday.

All Head Start and Early Head Start centers are closed.

St. Tammany Parish schools

All public schools will dismiss three hours early on Monday. In an updated Facebook post Monday, school district officials said school employees will be dismissed after all students are cleared from campus and that employees at support sites will be dismissed at 2 p.m. 
 

St. Charles Parish Public Schools

All public schools will dismiss early out of an abundance of caution. All after school activities, including child care, have been cancelled. The tiered dismissal is as follows:

11 a.m.: Destrehan High School and Hahnville High School

11:40 a.m.: Albert Cammon Middle School, Harry Hurst Middle School, J.B. Martin Middle School, R.K. Smith Middle School, Lakewood Elementary School and Ethel Schoeffner Elementary.

12:30 a.m.: Allemands Elementary School, Luling Elementary School, Mimosa Park Elementary School, New Sarpy Elementary School, Norco Elementary School, St. Rose Elementary School, R.J. Vial Elementary School, Head Start and the School Board Office.

St. Bernard Parish schools

St. Bernard Christian Academy will dismiss at 2 p.m. today and all after school activities canceled.

Chalmette High School, Rowley Alternative, and Smith Elementary will dismiss at noon. Their middle and elementary schools are set to follow. All after-school activities are canceled.

InspireNOLA schools

InspireNOLA high schools (Edna Karr, McDonogh 35 and Eleanor McMain) will dismiss at 11:30 am. InspireNOLA elementary schools (Alice M. Harte, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Andrew H. Wilson and Pierre A. Capdau S.T.E.A.M.) will dismiss at 1 p.m.

The Willow School, New Orleans

All campuses of the Willow School grades K-12 will have early dismissal tomorrow at 11:30am, Monday.
 

Hynes Charter Schools, New Orleans 

All Hynes Charter School campuses will have early dismissal
 
Hynes-Parkview: 
Kindergarten-8th grades will dismiss at 11:30am
 
Hynes-Lakeview: 
Pre-K will dismiss at 11am
Kindergarten will dismiss at 11:15am
Grades 1-8 will dismiss at 11:30am
 
Hynes-UNO:
Kindergarten will dismiss at 11:15am
Grades 1st-8th will dismiss at 11:30am
 

International High School of New Orleans

Class will dismiss at noon.
 

Benjamin Franklin High School

Students will be dismissed at 11:40 a.m.
 

Audubon Schools

Audubon's Live Oak Campus will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

Audubon Broadway and Gentilly campuses will dismiss at 1 p.m.

Robert Russa Moton Charter School

The school will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.

International High School of New Orleans

School will close at noon with all afterschool activities canceled.

New Orleans private schools

Archbishop Rummel High School said it would dismiss students at noon.

Cabrini High School will dismiss students at noon. All afterschool activities are canceled. 

Katherine Drexel High School has virtual classes all day Monday.

Colleges and universities

The University of New Orleans is switching to remote classes for students and remote work for non-essential staff beginning at noon. The library and Privateer Enrollment Center will remain open until 4:30 p.m. The men's basketball home game has ben pushed up to 1 p.m.

Southeastern Louisiana University will switch to remote learning at noon. Normal operations expected to resume tomorrow.
