Five-star running back Harlem Berry has committed to LSU, he announced during the Under Armour All-American Game broadcast on Wednesday.

Berry is the No. 1 running back and No. 16 player in the Class of 2025, according to the 247Sports' composite rankings. He attends St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie and is the No. 1 prospect in the state.

Florida and Texas were the other finalists in Berry’s recruitment.

Berry is the seventh recruit and second five-star prospect to commit to LSU’s 2025 class, joining five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore, four-star linebacker Keylan Moses, four-star offensive tackle Brett Bordelon, four-star wide receiver TaRon Francis, four-star tight end John David LaFleur and three-star cornerback Jaylen Bell.

LSU had the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation for 2025 before Berry’s commitment.

Berry is the second five-star recruit to commit to LSU since Sunday after five-star defensive tackle and 2024 prospect Dominick McKinley committed to the Tigers.

LSU is also in the hunt for five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 overall player in the Class of 2025.

Underwood, who announces his commitment Saturday, is thought to be choosing among LSU, Michigan and Alabama.
