It's a new year, and teams across the northshore provided some impressive statistical showings among girls athletes in the area.

Here's your chance to make your vote count and choose the Northshore Girls Athlete of the Week. The poll will wrap up at noon on Wednesday, and the winner will be recognized on the NOLA.com prep sports Facebook page and the St. Tammany Farmer Facebook page.

If you want to submit candidates for any of our future polls, please contact Joseph Halm at jhalm@sttammanyfarmer.net by Sunday evening each week.
