The Northshore Camellia Club will hold its 15th annual camellia show on Jan. 7 at the newly renovated Greenwood Event Center, 75082 La. 25, in Covington. Exhibitors from throughout the Gulf region will bring new varieties. Novice and local growers are invited to participate; club members will guide newcomers in the display of their blooms and help identify those that are unknown. The show is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and more than 100 camellia plants will be available for purchase starting at 9 a.m.
